Rúben Martins is the founding organiser of the WordPress Faro community and CTO & co‑founder of WOW Digital. With over fifteen years' experience in full‑stack web development, he specialises in designing and delivering bespoke WordPress solutions, particularly booking systems and B2B platforms, built to integrate seamlessly with external APIs and scale with client growth.

At WOW Digital, Rúben spearheads both technical development and project management, collaborating directly with SMEs and long‑standing clients to deliver results‑driven, secure and optimised web systems.

A proactive contributor to the WordPress ecosystem since 2014, he serves as a Meetup organiser, plugin developer and translation contributor. He has also co‑organized WordCamp Europe 2020 & 2022, WordCamp Porto 2024 and WordCamp Lisboa 2025, and also volunteered at WordPress Day for Developers Lisbon 2024.
