“I messed up in Germany.” - a friend said recently. And I could relate.

Like many expats, she had a dream of what life here would look like, but reality turned out different. Maybe that’s you too. Maybe you:
- Lost passion for your field either in job or studies.
- Started a job that drained you (or got fired from it)
- Felt pressure around money or expectations (from yourself or the people around you)
- Had low energy and felt unmotivated

Maybe you even built the story:
“Others are succeeding. I’m not good enough.”

I’ve been there too. For years, my worth was tied to being “successful” in a way that society was dictating: prestigious schools and fancy companies. And when things did not work out in the end, I thought I’d “messed up” in Germany too.

Now I see that those “failures” were redirections. But back then, I didn’t feel safe enough to follow them.

In this meetup you will have a chance to change your perspective from failure to redirection too, and come up with the first steps to walk towards this new direction!

Here's the agenda:
1. 15 min intro from me talking about the common phases in an expat life trying to make it in a foreign country.
2. Group coaching exercise (55 min)
3. Wrap-up (5 min)

How does the group coaching work?

  • Everyone briefly introduces themselves and describes a challenge they are dealing with as expats.
  • After everyone has shared, we vote on one challenge. The challenge with maximum amount of votes gets discussed. I will coach the person or people with that challenge - the group is welcome to chime in.
  • At the end of the session you will come out with an actionable outcome of how to approach the topic further.
  • Finally everyone rates again from 1 to 10 - how confident they are about overcoming their own challenges after this session.

If you’re ready to shift your story from failure to redirection, I’d love for you to join.

max. 12 sign ups.
