Let’s meet to have fun playtesting a prototype card game that's intended to help people understand addiction and learn how to help each other with addiction's challenges. We’ll meet and chat for a few minutes and then play the game, giving feedback on the experience and what could improve the game.

You might be interested if one or more of the following applies to you:

* you like strategic card games (or strategic board or video games of any kind)
* you are interested in addiction and how to help yourself and/or others with addiction
* you are open-minded and don’t mind talking about different approaches to addiction, growth, supports, and recovery

We’ll meet and playtest a card game in development for use in personal growth for those challenged by addiction and/or wanting to support loved ones and community members in personal growth and freedom.

A Little Help Card Game: Breaking the Cycle: A Game of Addiction Recovery

In this fun card game, a work in progress, you play as yourself and every player is a member of your social circle. The objective of the game is for players to work together to help themselves and everyone in their social circle overcome the triggers and challenges of addiction by using available resources to us all.

A Little Help is a fast-paced, set-building card game with a twist: You’ll need to cooperate to find the best helps and supports for yourself and those around you by learning more and sharing coping mechanisms, support resources, and habit-building activities. The first player to help five others wins but watch out! If you let too many problems go unaddressed, everybody loses!

In playing, we’ll explore the many facets of addiction and recovery, learning how to support each other in our life challenges, intentions, and growth.

A Little Help is fun for those that would like to learn more about addiction–whether to help themselves or others that that they love and care about it. We’ll each leave the game with a habit-building practice to try in the days ahead.
