🪩 Welcome to Grown & Dancing!

We’re Rahel & Matt, a married couple new to Minnesota who love meeting people, exploring new places and, most importantly... DANCING. 💃🏾🕺🏻

We quickly discovered something after moving here:

Finding somewhere to dance when you’re 35+ can feel like a part-time research job!

Where’s the good music? Is anybody actually dancing? Is the place packed or completely dead? Are there people our age there? And even when you find somewhere promising... who are you going with?

So we created Grown & Dancing.

This is a social community for adults 35+ who still love going out, dancing and meeting new people, but don’t necessarily have a ready-made crew to do it with!

🎵 What are we dancing to?

Pretty much anything that makes us move!

R&B • Hip-Hop • Afrobeats • Reggae • Dancehall • Reggaeton • Salsa • Kizomba • EDM • Throwbacks • Rock and more.

We’re not building the group around one genre or one venue. The adventure is finding them.

We’ll choose different bars, clubs, DJs, dance nights, live events and unexpected spots around Minnesota and post:

“We’re going. Who wants to meet us there?”

Some places will become favorites that we visit again.

Others may earn a unanimous “Well... at least we tried.” 😂

Either way, we won’t be doing it alone.

That’s one of the biggest reasons this group exists.

Come alone. Bring your spouse. Bring a friend. Come single. Come married. Come coupled up.

This is not a dating group. It’s a friendship, social and dancing community.

You don’t need to be an amazing dancer either. There will be no auditions at the door. If music comes on and some portion of your body starts moving, you qualify.

We just want friendly, welcoming people who enjoy good music, good company and discovering somewhere new.
