New Year Refresh
Details
How many times have we made a “New Year’s Resolution” in January and then realized in February that we’d already broken it? The idea of a fresh start on January 1st is so appealing and gives us hope for changes for the better in our lives. Research shows how the idea of a “resolution” is not the best way to go about making changes. If our resolutions are too big or vague, we are setting ourselves up for failure. How can we embrace the idea of a fresh start without putting pressure on ourselves when life happens?
I came across a question that really spoke to me for how I want to look at this year. “How do I want to show up this year?” Join us for our first meeting of the new year where we’ll ponder this question and make a physical (crafty!) take away. Having our focus in front of us often is one of the best ways to bring it to life.
