- Chapter 7 - Creating Positive Momentum Now (Short-Term Solutions)
- Chapter 8 - Sustaining Positive Momentum for Life (Long-Term Solutions)
What you can expect from the book club:
Each Monday in May, at 8:00pm EST, we will meet on Zoom to discuss the book, The Magic of Momentum by Stephen Guise. During the event, attendees will have the opportunity to share their thoughts and insights on the book, ask questions, and engage in meaningful discussions about the content. Participants can expect to gain new perspectives and insights on the topic, as well as connect with others who share their interest in personal development and self-improvement. The event is open to anyone who has read the book or is interested in learning more about it.
We are not your traditional book club:
- We bring VIBE to our book discussions! V***ision Inspire Become Empower.* Our book choices reflect this VIBE and are usually in the genre of self-development.
- We welcome anyone to join in at any time! You do not have to start at the beginning of the book. Even if you haven't had time to read the book, feel free to join in and partake in the discussion and socialize.
- Each week there will be a summary of the weeks reading provided with discussion questions that we can touch on. Use it as much as you would like to prepare or review.
- Nicole likes graphics and printable tools so there may be some of those available as well ;-)

About the book (copied from the Amazon book page):
The magic of momentum is in its power to propel us to places we couldn't or wouldn't go otherwise, and then to compound in that same direction. Most goals die when people run out of motivation and willpower. When motivation returns, new goals are born, and the cycle continues. Momentum is special because it doesn't depend on our thoughts or feelings to work.
What You'll Learn:
- Why momentum is the most powerful force that affects your behavior at all times.
- Why momentum only exists across two time frames, and not in the time frame most people think it does.
- Why momentum works differently in our lives than in other areas such as sports (hint: it's the brain).
- How to instantly defeat the psychology of being in a rut.
- How to reverse negative momentum.
- How to create and sustain positive momentum.
