DESCRIPTION
First released in May of 2003, WordPress has become an incredibly popular platform, powering (according to one estimate) almost 43% of the world’s websites. And yet, with its various benefits, there is a high overhead in developing and maintaining WordPress applications.
This month at GRWebDev powered by LaFleur, we will hear from Steven Miller as he explores the use of JAMstack architecture to build a more robust web platform, leveraging the power of serverless technology and static file delivery. Join us on Monday, September 26th at 6pm in-person at Little Space Studio or online via Zoom.
OUR PRESENTER
Steven Miller enjoys all facets of operational technology. Steve is currently a Senior DevOps Engineer and has worked in the past as a Senior Software Engineer, System Administrator, and Security Engineer for a variety of corporations and public institutions. When not keeping up with the latest changes in technology, Steve enjoys tinkering with his tractor and working outside. You can find more information about Steve at r15cookie.com.
