We are excited to invite you to our first in person event in Istanbul for Green Software - Türkiye! This is a meetup group backed by the Green Software Foundation.

Our second event in Türkiye, with the first held earlier this year in Izmir, will provide you with an Introduction To Green and Sustainable Software Fundamentals.
This event is suitable for everyone in the tech, and will be of most interest to software practitioners. Did you know that software is responsible for 4-5% of global carbon emissions? Join us to learn more about how you can lead the change to reduce the environmental impact of software.
In this event, Volkan Abur - our local organiser for Türkiye - will talk in Turkish about the importance of sustainability and climate issues, as well as the current situation and awareness of IT companies and Software teams on those subjects.
The event will end with light refreshments and a chance to connect with other people in the tech industry who share your passion.
