[Scarborough] Revive Your Body Bootcamp (outdoor fitness for all levels)

Looking to get in shape for Summer but HATE the gym? Don't have too much time to hike? How about a one hour commitment on Monday evenings once a week, where you get to:
1. Meet new people with like-minded interests and hobbies
2. Get a safe and effective workout led by a trainer with 15+ years experience
3. Get some fresh air and nature while you exercise outdoors, not in a basement and not in a smelly or overcrowded gym.
Revive Your Body Bootcamp offers full-body, effective training sessions to keep you in tip top shape! All fitness levels are welcome in this inclusive fitness program and exercise modifications are always offered for people with injuries or mobility limitations.
Here is what to expect:
- Each class includes a warmup and cool down stretch with exercises focused on building strength and endurance, with modifications and progressions offered for each exercise.
What you need to bring:
- 1. Yoga mat
- 2. Set of dumbbells* .
- 3. Towel
- 4. Water bottle
- 5. Optional: skipping rope, loop band, resistance band (I have extra)
- *Note: Dumbbell weight can vary depending on fitness level. Beginners can bring 3-5lb weights; advanced participants can bring 6-20lb weights and alternate between exercises.
MEETING SPOT:
The meeting spot is shared with hikers once they book and are added to the WhatsApp group. The location is south of Victoria Park and 401. Parking is free.
MEETING TIME:
We start at 7:15pm. Please arrive 5 minutes early to setup. I will guide everyone through a warmup and then we will start the class.
REGISTRATION REQUIRED - 10 SPOTS
The workout will be capped at 10 spots. To join, please register by sending the meetup fee as outlined below:
First time attendee promo: $15/class for your first three classes (includes 1 hour of instructed fitness with a certified personal trainer). Please e-transfer to Event.Booking@hotmail.com and I will add you to the list! Include your NAME + "Revive Your Body Bootcamp" in the message.*
Meetup fees help support in the work involved in planning, organizing, coordinating and leading safe and inclusive events for the group. Hikes are led by a certified personal trainer and group fitness instructor also certified in emergency first aid and CPR training.
Cancelation policy:
Meetup fees are final (no refunds). If the organizer needs to reschedule, credit will be applied to a future class.

- be kind and respectful
- arrive on time
- bring a positive attitude :)
