Moonlight Hike and Social - Bob Hunter Park - Moderate (Free)
Details
We will hike at a moderate pace for 6 - 7 km in 2 hrs or less. Please bring a headlamp or a flashlight. Let's hope it will be clear so we can see the sun at night. The moon can get bright enough to turn off our headlamps while we hike, so if you haven't experienced a night hike, come out and enjoy the adventure. Just don't be the last in line.😬
The trail weaves through the forest, along a pathway, and in open medows, giving us many opportunities to admire the moon. This hike is about the energy of the moon. The trails are icy, so bring your Crampons.
After the hike, we can go to Colonel Mustards Pub for a bite to eat and/or a New Year drink.
