Snowshoeing and Lunch - Secord Pond Intermediate (Free)

Join us for a morning of snowshoeing. We will snowshoe the trail around Secord Pond. This is a fun way to embrace the Canadian winter. If the conditions are favourable, we will go off trail and see the mysterious Oak Tree and explore a couple of abandoned buildings. Don't forget to bring your sunglasses.😎

Our pace will be determined by the trail conditions. The trail is 5-6kms in length. A good distance for snowshoeing. There are several hills to climb, but the trail is fairly flat. An experienced hiker should have no problem. We will have breaks and take in the scenery along the way.

For those who are interested, we will have lunch at Annina's, a local establishment in The Town of Goodwood.

• Snowshoes are mandatory!
• Arrive on time! Please don't let the group wait.
• Bring water and snacks.
• Dress for the conditions.
• Free parking.
• No dogs.
• Having fun is mandatory.
• Know your limits! Choose the hike that matches your fitness level.
• The hike will be posted "Canceled" if the weather doesn't cooperate. Fingers 🤞!

To participate in this hike, you and guests need to adhere to the rules and agree by a reply of "Yes" to the liability waiver.
