Snowshoe/Hike and Coffee - Bob Hunter Memorial Park

The snow is still falling, but the winter is nearing its end. We will snowshoe the loop like we have in the past. For those who don't have snowshoes, you can hike behind us. You will need your icers. This is perfect for the first time snowshoer as the terrain is relatively flat. We will snowshoe approximately 6-7kms running parallel to the trail on fresh snow where we can get that fresh snowfall snowshoe experience, when possible. Don't forget your sunglasses. They're calling for a beautiful, sunny morning.

We will explore some of the trails in Bob Hunter Memorial Park. The park is part of the Rouge National Urban Park system. The headwaters of Little Rouge Creek meanders its way through the forested valley.

Come out and enjoy a beautiful morning of snowshoeing. It may be our last.

• Snowshoes and icers are mandatory!
• Arrive on time! Please don't let the group wait.
• Bring water and snacks.
• Dress for the conditions.
• Free parking.
• No dogs.
• Having fun is mandatory.
• Know your limits! Choose the hike that matches your fitness level.
• The hike will be posted "Canceled" if the _weather doesn't cooperate. Fingers !
