Durham Forest, South Entrance - Intermediate Hike
Details
Durham Forest is one of the few untouched areas remaining in the GTA. We will do a large loop enjoying many os scenic views. It's a great time of year to hike the rolling hills as the forest explodes with spring colours. We may see some of the remaining Trilliums for the season.
Once we finish the hike, for those who are interested, we can do lunch at the Hub Restaurant, which overlooks the valleys below. The outdoor restaurant and patio
should be up and running now.
The pace will be moderate, taking breaks along the way. We can adjust as needed. The length of the hike is roughly 10 - 12 km in 2½hrs.
Come out and enjoy the fresh spr air and take in some forest bathing.

- Arrive on time! Cancel if you can't make it.
- Know your limits! Hike within your fitness level.
- Dress for the conditions.
- Proper footwear is required.
- Be aware and prepared for ticks.
- Free Parking.
- No Dogs.
- The hike will be canceled if the weather doesn't cooperate.
