Moonlight Hike - TooGood Pond, Unionville

Join me for our first moonlight hike of the season. I plan to post hikes throughout the year during the nights around the full moon. If you haven't experienced a night hike, come out and join the fun. These hike are all about the energy of the moon. We can share interesting facts about that months full moon.

We will hike at a moderate pace doing 5 - 6 km in 2 hrs or less. Please bring a headlamp or a flashlight.

This month we will walk the paths around Toogood Pond in Unionville. The paths have many breaks in the treelines which will allow us to stop several times to admire the moon. Since its Friday night, after the hike we can visit one of the establishments on Main Street and enjoy a chat.

Let's hope it will be clear so we can see the sun at night. The moon can get bright enough to turn off our headlamps while we hike. So if you haven't experienced a night hike, come out and enjoy the adventure. Just don't be the last in line.😬

After the hike, we can agree on a pub/restaurant and go for something to eat and/or a drink.

• Arrive on time! Please cancel if you can't make it.
• Know your limits! Hike within it.
• Dress for the conditions.
• Be aware and prepared for ticks.
• Free Parking.
• No Dogs.
• The hike will be canceled if the weather doesn't cooperate.
