Fall Hike at Secord Pond
Details
Join us for a fall hike at Secord Pond. We will enjoy the fall colours and the scenic trail around Secord Pond and visit the famous Pet Cemetery. The hike distance will be +/- 7km at a moderate pace. If we have time, we will explore some abandoned buildings.
Secord Pond is a hidden jem in the Durham network of trails. Come out and enjoy the morning.
For those who are interested, we can do lunch at Annina's in the hamlet of Greenwood (where they filmed Schitts Creek). Great food.

- The hike will leave on time.
- Know your limit, hike within it.
- Parking is free.
- No dogs.
- Dress according to the weather.
- Be aware of ticks and tick prevention.
- Pack water/snacks.
- The hike will be posted "Canceled" if the weather doesn't cooperate.
