Write and Share SciFi Night

Join us and write your own short story, memoir, cartoon, essay, or poem based on the picture prompt! The picture prompt for this month is the event photo. Your writing piece does not have to be Science Fiction - that's just a suggestion!

Please keep your composition to 300 words or less OR share a short selection of a longer work. Please write your composition in advance of the meeting.

We will then meet online to share what we've written and to discuss. It's also OK to just come and listen to what others have written. We are using the free version of Zoom so time for reading our works and sharing feedback will be limited.

There is water with multiple yachts and other ships. In the center is a pillar with four supportive arms going through the water and above. If we look up, we see what appears to be another layer of water overhead, being held up by the supporting arms, and we can see the bottoms of other boats floating on that water.
