East Harlem Cafe Chat! (Walking tour postponed due to weather)

** BECAUSE IT IS RAINY**, this will just be a “hang out at a coffee shop event”. The walking tour part will be cancelled but we can still hang out at Madame Bonte (please buy something to support the venue).

WALKING TOUR POSTPONED:
Join me for a walking tour of East Harlem! We will walk around and look at historic buildings - schools, churches and other notable locations. We will meet at Madame Bonte, gather, wait 10-15 minutes, and then start our self guided walking tour. Try to be on time because it will be harder to find us once we start walking! Our first stop is 3 blocks north of the Coffee Shop.

This is NOT a professional or guided walking tour - we will walk together and read from a guidebook. The guide book that I have is the “Historic Districts Council - East Harlem”. The guidebook has a lot of stops, so we will see how far we get in 1 hr 15 minutes.
