Farewell Metrocard Food Tour

The Metrocard is “retiring”! To celebrate the Metrocard, multiple restaurants in NYC are offering “Metrocard Inspired Foods”. Read more about it here: https://www.mta.info/article/metrocard-farewell

We’ll start at Stretch Pizza where you can order the Metrocard-inspired pizza - NOTE we will meet at the location in “The Hugh” building. Then we will walk about
a mile to Gong Cha for a Metrocard-inspired drink, and then 2 blocks to Carvel for a Metrocard-inspired ice cream. We will end the tour near Times Square where you will have many transportation options to get home. These locations are all chain restaurants, so make sure you go to the right one to join us!

How far?
The total walking distance will be about 1 mile.

• Please try to arrive at Stretch Pizza by 6:45! Once we start walking, it will be hard to catch up with the group if you’re late.
• everyone will pay for their food separately! If you do not want to order something at each place, you can still come for the walk. If you order something at every location you will be spending about $25-$30.
• please wear comfy shoes and warm clothes as we will be walking.
• I cannot guarantee that the Metrocard themed items will be available at these locations.
