Let's join the New York Road Runners Free "Open Run" program to run a free 5K in Brooklyn Bridge Park! You can walk or run while enjoying a beautiful view.

It is FREE to attend but you MUST sign up and fill out a waiver online before attending! If you do NOT complete the waiver, you cannot attend! Go to this website, and hit the big red button that says " Sign Up"

What to Expect
Arrive by 6:45 PM and show the QR code that you received from signing up to a volunteer! They will give you a tag to pin to your clothes! The run will start at 7PM.

How to get there
The start of the 5K is at Pier 6 in Brooklyn Bridge Park! It is about a 20 minute walk from the nearest subway, so please look up directions on how to get there, in advance! The B63 Bus will drop you off right near our starting line.

What to wear
Dress in comfortable shoes and clothes that you can run in! This event is "Rain or Shine" but will be cancelled if there is a danger of thunderstorms or a heat wave.

FAQs
What if I am a slow runner? That is OK! Walking is also OK, although we ask that you return to the start line within 45 minutes.
Is there bag check? Yes, volunteers will watch your stuff. However, leave things at your own risk.
