How to Get Yourself to Get Yourself to Get Things Done ?

Details
## Oh, my goodness! You forgot to check your to-do lists again!
But they were sooo long. Maybe if you reorganize them, you'll get a better overview. Or you could try color-coding them. Wait, have you considered that new
software YouTube keeps suggesting since you first searched for
'self-management'?
Sometimes, it's not the next action step that's the issue - it's the step
before the step, or even the one before that. The "get started doing"
before the "get things done", or even the "get up from your mental sofa and
choose what to do and then get started doing"...... (Okay, maybe that's a
bit confusing, but you get the idea.)
On November 21, 2023, we'd like to discuss how to make it easier to get things done. How can you prepare yourself emotionally, physically,
mentally, and in any other way necessary to complete what's on your mind?
What reminders do you find helpful? Do you rely on digital tools, or do
you stick post-it notes on your bike handlebars and draw little sketches
on your hands? Do you reward yourself after you ticked off an item to stay
motivated?
Have you discovered tricks to keep your lists short and
efficient, or had an epiphany that turned managing your extensive to-do
list into a breeze? How do we transform apathy into excitement? Is it
simply a matter of magic and talent, or is there more to it? Do deadlines
and emergencies motivate you?
## What to expect?
This is an open exchange of practitioners of Getting Things Done (GTD)
where we want to share our experiences with the coolest self-management
method on the planet.
## Agenda?
The format of the meetUp will be an open discussion. We will have a little
introduction and some guiding questions prepared. But the magic of the
meetUp comes from the stories and experiences shared by the participants.
## Not familiar with GTD?
One last remark: This MeetUp is run by GTD practitioners. GTD is a
self-management method that helps you keep a free mind and relieve your
brain of the burden of remembering and reminding. If you are not familiar
with GTD, but you still want to join the meetup, that's great! You can
find a lot of valuable resources on GTD here:

Just keep in mind that, we will keep an eye on the discussion and make sure that the discussion remains valuable for GTD practitioners.
