Let's admit it: Life is confusing right now. And Intelligence Technologies (as exciting as they might be) don't really help. AI, the emerging new way of computing ("Cognitive Era") and Generative Technologies are evolving so fast that it is hard to keep track of what your actual job is.

Maybe your are young with most of your life ahead of you, and wonder about orientation, what to focus on, or what to become good at. Or, maybe you have a few more years under your belt and just digested the invention of the internet. And now this ... Yes, it is baffling, bewildering and maybe even upsetting.

So what would be a good next action? Why not register for a cool meetUp with Gettings Things Done Netherlands Group? We want to assemble a group of humans in a virtual room and dive deep into questions about AI, human creativity and Getting Things Done.

What does the current state of AI tech mean to the fundamental thinking process of how to get things done? And where does it leave human original ideas? Does the Artificial Planning Model replace the Natural Planning Model? Does the ai write your next action lists, or does it engage with you in a friendly dialogue about your higher horizons? And: How about learning? Is AI educational fast food that provides lower quality knowledge than human exchange? Or is it an access to new perspectives? Is it all about how to use it? Or are there fundamental perils and opportunities, that GTDer in particular should be reflecting on?

This will be an exchange on the human side of all of this. We want to share feelings, fears and hopes.

## What to expect? And what not to expect?

This Meetup is an open exchange of practitioners of Getting Things Done (GTD) where we want to share our experiences with the coolest self-management method on the planet.

In this particular MeetUp we want to talk about the current usage and opportunities of AI and its implications. We do not focus on long term impacts on jobs, future trajectories and predictions, or skynet (let's save those discussions for another/judgement day!). Let's stay in the "here and now".

Furthermore, this is not a tool show - neither for "GTD tools" nor for "AI tools". We might refer to certain tools and models. But there will be no demos.

## Agenda?

The format of the MeetUp will be an open discussion. We will have a little introduction and some guiding questions prepared. But the magic of the MeetUp comes from the stories and experiences shared by the participants. There will be no recording - we embrace open discussion and sharing. Also, let's keep the note-taking AI assistants out of the room, for now.

## Not Familiar with GTD?

If you are not familiar with GTD, but you still want to join the meetup,
that's great! You can find a lot of valuable resources on GTD here:

Just keep in mind that we will keep an eye on the discussion and make sure that the discussion remains valuable for GTD practitioners.
