ABOUT CLIMATE LAUNCHPAD
Climate Launchpad is the world’s leading green business ideas competition. Our mission is to unlock the world’s cleantech potential that addresses climate change. The competition creates a stage for those ideas.
For many Climate Launchpad Winners and also participants, the competition has been their ticket to global success. Felyx recently announced a 24 million investment to expand within Europe. Textile waste tracking and trading platform Reverse Resources announced its role in the Circular Fashion Partnership which includes major fashion brands such as Bershka and H&M Group.

The CLP Program.
The CLP program is an 8week long program, where startups that are still in ideation can develop their business idea over the course of an intensive Bootcamp, followed by a 6 week coaching period. Their business ideas have to be within the scope of the eight themes, chosen in consultation with EIT Climate-KIC. These (1. Adaptation & Resilience, 2.Blue Economy, 3.Circular Economies, 4.Clean Energy, 5.Food Systems, 6.Sustainable Mobility, 7.Urban Solutions, 8.The Next Big Thing) represent a selection of the most pressing and relevant focus areas of our time in our fight against climate change.
After the program, each country has their National Finals, where the teams pitch in front of an audience and jury of experts. The top teams of each country go to the Regional Finals where the big winner will be chosen.
