This group is FREE and usually has 4 to 12 attendees, so even if no one RSVPs here, it's usually a pretty active group as we advertise elsewhere.
This ADHD & Autism Lvl 1 FREE group aims to be a friendly, inclusive, and nonjudgmental space for neurodivergent adults (18+). We will be focusing on topics that take a closer look into what it means to be neurodivergent.
Some topics that you can look forward to include:
- rejection sensitivity
- trouble mentalizing
- demand avoidance and decision paralysis
- school, work, and productivity issues
- parenting difficulties
- relationships
- money issues
- addiction
- self-esteem
Whether you're looking to meet others with similar experiences, talk through challenges, share strategies, or just be yourself in a relaxed environment this group will be a great way to meet up with like-minded people who are looking to connect and navigate some practical tools.
What to expect:
· Held online via zoom
· A calm, welcoming atmosphere
· Flexible structure
· Peer support and social connection
· Optional activities and discussions
· Occasional guest speakers or themed topics
- Your facilitator will be a neurodivergent therapist specializing in ADHD/Autism lvl 1
Who it's for:
· Age Requirement: 18 and up
· Anyone with ADHD or ASD lvl 1 (diagnosed or self-identified)
· Supportive friends, carers, or family of neurodivergent person
· You do NOT need a diagnosis to attend
