Come hike with me in the PHX Mountain Preserve along the Freedom trail, circumventing Piestawa peak!

Who is this hike best for?
• Moderately experienced hikers.
• Visitors from out of state that want to explore Phoenix's local mountain landscape.
• Anyone who wants to explore and learn about wildlife in the Sonoran desert.

Difficulty: Hard
Length: 3.7 miles, 2.5 - 3 hours
Total elevation gain: 1,095 ft
Location: 2701 Piestewa Peak Dr, Phoenix, AZ 85016

Suggested Equipment
• 2 liters of water
• Hiking shoes/boots or shoes with good traction on rocks, gravel, & dirt
• Sun protection- hats, sun glasses, sun screen

NOTICE
• There are points where the hike is rocky with steep inclines, please do not book if you're unsure if you are able to complete a strenuous 3 hour hike.
• The Sonoran desert is home to potentially dangerous wildlife such as rattle snakes, scorpions, and bobcats.
• The Sonoran desert is prone to drastic temperature changes, as extreme as 80°+ during the day and 30° at night. Please come dressed and equipped appropriately.
• A waiver must be signed prior to the hike acknowledging the risk implied in the hike.

Pricing
• $25 per person
• $130 for a private hike up to 6 people
• $150 for a private hike with 7 or 8 people
• $180 for a private hike with 9 or 10 people
• Subject to availability, recommended to book in advance for larger groups to guarantee availability.

• Fully refundable cancellation up to 3 days before the reservation date.
• No refunds if cancelled within 3 days of the reservation.
