HeroQuest Night

Heroquest is semi-cooperative board game has one player taking on the role of Zargon, the Game Master, while 4 mythical heroes team up in their quest for adventure in a maze of monsters and eerie dark dungeons, featuring official 3d printed miniatures, originally developed by Game Workshop (original creators of WARHAMMER) now refreshed by Avalon Hill. With several (NEW!) expansions and characters available, there is a character for everyone! Players can come and go as they please, but coming back means more loot for your heroes!

The game while at it's core is a board game, it plays like a very simplified version of D&D; unlike D&D though, the rules/gameplay has been designed around an introduction style gameplay to Table Top Role Playing Games (ttrpg)! Character creation is as simple as choosing a character: no drawn out generation or maths required. The game itself plays across several simplified campaigns where your character can get more loot and play through several ever expanding dungeons.

You are encouraged to return each session as a single campaign takes place over the course of 10-14 unique quests/boards. The more experienced the players, the more you can get through! Additionally, a character death is not the end for your journey! As long as a hero is nearby, your loot can be recovered and you can continue playing on the next quest! It's likely expected that we will get through anywhere from 2-4 quests per night. This means that a campaign will take 5-7 nights (at a rate of 1 night a month, should take about 6 months for a single campaign). Believe me when I say I have plenty of quests to play through!
If you have never played a TTRPG this is a great way to start.
Additionally, players will not need to bring any supplies
