Forge Premier Mini-Campaign: The Sugarplum Sovereignty

D&D 2024 Rules | Levels 8–12 | 4–6 Players | Limited Seats
Welcome to Candy Land—a magical kingdom of chocolate rivers, sugar mountains, peppermint forests, gingerbread villages, and ancient fairytale magic.
At first, it looks like paradise.
Then the candy starts turning bitter.
Chocolate rivers blacken. Gingerbread villages are consumed from below. Citizens disappear. Candy Castle has gone silent.
And King Kandy is missing.
Behind the spreading corruption is Malvara Sugarscourge, Witch of the Molten Crown, a former royal confectioner who has discovered something ancient beneath the kingdom: the Sugar Heart.
The Sugar Heart feeds on joy, and Malvara believes she can use its power to create a world without sadness—no matter what it costs.
The adventure begins when a mysterious candy-covered doorway appears where no doorway should exist.
Beyond it waits a rainbow road.
A voice whispers:
“You’ve been invited.”

Across the campaign, players will journey through the strange realms of Candy Land—from the Strawberry Fields and Chocolate Mountains to the shifting Licorice Forest, frozen Peppermint Swamps, and finally the silent halls of Candy Castle. What begins as a colorful fantasy adventure gradually transforms into surreal danger, dark fairytale horror, and an epic battle for the soul of the kingdom.
