NORTH DOWNS GOMSHALL TO FARNHAM -19 MILES OR JOIN FOR AFTTERNOON GUILDFORD 10

Meeting at Gomshall Railway station at 10 .00 am. train connections from London

We Will follow the famous North Downs Way hiking trail , towards Farnham 19 Miles , or Join Afternoon at Guildford train station for 2pm for 10 mile section to farnham.

This is a long walk we walking on average 2.0- 2.5 miles per hour. Please Ensure you have strong walking boots, clothes to match the weather, also ensure that you have at least 2 litres of water. Expect to arrive in Farnham some 7 hours after.

There is option to leave the walk at Guildford , or join us at Guildford .

The return journey is from Dorking Deepdene to Guildford station and trains run every hour, check the timetable if you are pressed for time (We will probably take the 16:41 back to Guildford .

For those who are driving , there is plenty of parking in Gomshall . The walk is a group event with walk guidance only, no service is inferred or risk assumed. Trip Highlights: • Visit the village of Shere - a popular film location for stars like Cameron Diaz where we stop for . coffee and cake • Hike parts of the famous North Downs Way and discover Surrey’s rural beauty.
