ARUNDEL HIKE 10 MILE CIRCULAR RIVER AND DOWNS WALK

Meeting at Arundel Railway Station (out the front) at 11.00am we head out in the direction of Arundel , visiting the Cathedral on route , well worth a visit . From here we head on up into Arundel park up over the top with fine views of Arundel , tranquil ponds and fine vista

We will follow the famous South Downs Way for a few miles, enjoying fabulous views on both sides ,on a clear day both to the sea and inland. well worth the visit and passing alongside the river back to Arundel.

This is pretty route takes us through woodland and farmland and rolling country side . Finally we will pass by the medieval Arundel castle before ending our walk in Arundel. This walk is 10 miles .

Finishing with a drink and something to eat for those who wish .

We will need to keep up a moderate pace throughout of about 2 miles an hour. approx 1.5 litre of walk will be required and pack lunch . Good walking shoes .
