Bring your fretted instrument (guitar, ukulele, bass, etc) for help restringing, minor repairs, and appraisal.

Have you acquired a guitar of uncertain provenance? Do you wish to know if that guitar is "any good" or a "total wreck"? Bring it over!

Has your guitar developed mysterious buzzing sounds? Is it difficult to play? Do the strings look like they could give you tetanus?

Bring it in and we'll have a look together. In my decades of teaching and playing guitar I've seen it all. We can accomplish many simple repairs together. You'll learn some basics of instrument repair and maintenance, and get your guitar back in good shape.

You may also drop off any unwanted instruments for donation.

Need something to do on Early Release? Join our introductory music class ideal for children ages ~6-9.

Leveraging our ardent passion for Minecraft and Taylor Swift, we will learn the basics of music including the musical notes (solfége - do re mi) and notation. We will get a chance to explore and try out a variety of different instruments including ukulele, kalimba, and more. All are welcome! Event held in Arlington in the Fox Library Community Room.

Tighten your rhythm by learning to play with others in a group. In this session we'll play together in three completely different styles. Blues (Freddie King), Classic Rock (Journey), Modern (Die With a Smile, Birds of a Feather).

Please bring your guitar.

Please arrive on time. We will gather outside Virtuosity Music and go together to the jam at 1pm.

Everyone will complete at least one, likely multiple projects in class. Free, pre-registration required; you must bring your own laptop to do the projects.
