Please bring along your guitar to meetup. I’m a member of the Registry of Guitar Tutors (Registration no MC1578). The aim of the these short courses is to encourage you to have the skills to play your own favourite songs.
Week 1 Guitar names and parts, learn how to tune the guitar with or without a tuner. <br>Learn the chords of A major D Major and E Major. Decide as a group what song learn to perform on weeks 3
Week 2 learn the rest of the Major chords, there are only 7 in total and also all major chords, suggested fingering, tips to remember the the shapes
Week 3 recap of all Major and Minor chords, chosen song .. played together and in time. The importance of timing and playing with other people. Discussion of the next stage of the meetup.
