Orchid Club Meeting (open to all) -- Vanilla Orchids

PROGRAM CHANGE: The speaker for our May meeting had to reschedule to June. So, we are very excited to have Stephanie Webb from Sunshine State Vanilla in Tampa, who will discuss Vanilla orchids, which produce the bean used in foods, beverages and other consumer products.

Vanilla grows in Florida. Stephanie will share tips and tricks for growing Vanilla and harvesting and curing the beans. And, she’ll bring plants, Vanilla beans, and her Vanilla products for sale.

The evening will include approximately 100 blooming plants of different varieties brought by members for judging and awards, opportunities to take orchids home, and light refreshments.

Guests are welcome to attend the monthly meetings with free admission.
