Join the Maryland Conservation Corps and step into the past through Black Marsh Wildlands, where nature and history intertwine. Explore a landscape rich with stories of the region’s past during this 2.5 mile hike.
This flat trail follows an old trolley line through the woods, past an old power station, and looks East over the bay toward Pleasure Island and the Craig Hill Lighthouse. This hike offers no more than 20 feet of elevation change with excellent bird watching and photography.
Leashed pets are welcome, please wear appropriate footwear as the trail can sometimes be wet. access to the park. For your safety and visibility, we recommend wearing bright colors, as it is hunting season in the area. Porta-pots are available at the meeting area. There is $3 In-State Fee and $5 Out-of-State Fee to enter the park, and provides all day access to the park.
