What we’re about
Gurdjieff Bennett New York City is an active Fourth Way group in the lineage of J.G. Bennett. We work with Morning Exercise (daily sitting practice), Gurdjieff Movements, regular meetings, retreats, and theme practices.
We are in a time of exponential uncertainty. How can we discover hope and an essence within that can lead to unity and change? There is the slowly emerging realization that a new direction needs to be taken that will not be a continuation of the past, nor a revolt against it.
Two different groups are available:
Tuesdays at 7pm in-person at our Center - OR - Wednesday evenings 7pm EST on Zoom

In the group meetings, we will discuss the Fourth Way and the art of transformation and change. How can we become genuine and awake, discovering the wonder of higher awareness?

Alters Nativity - Events at the Center
This October, the Center for Creative Studies will be hosting Alters Nativity, presented by New Firmament and Nick Podgurski.
ALTERS NATIVITY is the second episode of The Noir of Transubstantiation tetralogue. The NoT is a collection of synergetic episodes and the corresponding components for their expression. On this occasion NP will perform music from Vol 2: Alters Nativity.
The performance will start at 8pm on Friday, October 24, 2025 at 1123 Broadway, Suite 1109, New York.
The show will run approximately 60 minutes.
To pre-register for the event please complete this brief form.
Tickets cost $15 and can be paid in advance via Zelle, bank to bank transfer, which has no fees. The recipient email to use with your bank is treas.ics4way@gmail.com. Make sure to note that this is for an Alters Nativity ticket. Cash and other payment methods will also be accepted at the door.
