Kafka Connect is a tool for scalably and reliably streaming data between Apache Kafka® and other data systems. This talk focusses on deployment models for Kafka Connect, typical cloud architectures and what it takes to run it on the cloud robustly in a production grade manner. I will go into some of the problem areas you might want to think about from our experience doing the same at Confluent
