Discover Almost 6000 Acres of Ancient Forests Walk through the ancient woodland of Epping Forest, London’s largest open space. The route runs from Epping to Chingford, through pollarded hornbeam and beech, past streams, ponds and two Iron Age forts, with a stop at the tea hut to refuel. No car needed, it’s all on the tube map.
