Circumnavigation of Tryon and Lucien Morin Parks

Hike Name: Circumnavigation of Tryon and Lucien Morin Park.
Hike Date: Sunday, May 10, 9 a.m.
Difficulty/Terrain: Moderate.
Distance: ~7 mile hike.
Where to Park/Meet: Meet in the lot just east of I590 off of Tryon Park Road from N. Winton Rd. Overflow parking is allowed along street. Depart 9 am from the Tryon Park parking lot. After exiting at the north trailhead of Tryon Park, we will descend Empire on the north side (sidewalk and then 8-10 ft shoulder) and enter Lucien Morin Park at the north trailhead. We will take blue and then white trails in LM Park to the southern trailhead, and connect to the southern trailhead, and connect to the southern trailhead of Tryon Park via Old Browncroft Blvd and via a 100-yard stretch of Browncroft Blvd shoulder.
