Granite Rapids Moon film

Details

Hello fellow hikers and GVTA supporters:

Here is an opportunity to see a good movie and support GVTA!
On Tuesday August 12th at 6:45 pm, Princess Twin on King St, Waterloo, will be screening Granite Rapids Moon movie with writer/director Kenneth Cran. More info here: https://princesscinemas.com/movie/granite-rapids-moon-qa-with-writerdirector-kenneth-cran. One night only!

50% or more of the box office receipts from GVTA members will be donated to the GVTA. So bring yourself, your family, friends and anyone you know or do not know! The film's writer/director will simply ask the audience before the Q&A for a show of hands from those who heard about the event from GVTA - so be sure to raise your hand!

From the producer: This is the first narrative feature film ever to shoot the majority of its footage inside the Grand Canyon. Granite Rapids Moon was made with permission and oversight from the National Park Service using only the equipment that cast and crew could carry on our backs through 82 miles of hiking. In other words, we made a film while leaving no trace. It is a family-friendly movie, with no sex, nudity, violence, guns, drugs, or particularly harsh language.

Enjoy the film!
