These hikes will be taking place in various locations, changing monthly! Our intention is to provide a regular weekday community hike night that folks can look forward to and count on year round! About the hike: Petersburg Regional Forest is a popular area for mountain biking and hiking located east of Petersburg on the north side of Snyder’s Road East. Access is gained by way of a right-of-way at 1974 Snyder’s Road East. A parking lot has been created for trail users at the entrance to the woodlot. The woodlot contains approximately 30km of single track trails and multi-use trails referred to as The Hydrocut Trails. Trails are maintained by the Waterloo Cycling Club. Come take a walk with us in the forest! Our loops will take us through varied forest terrain, with fun hills, twists and turns. Get outside with us, move your body and breathe in some fresh forest air! *We may hike in thick mud, or wade through ankle deep water, or make unplanned last minute turns to explore the variety of trails in this forest, and we welcome the fun and adventure this brings! . . .
