Welcome! Our community brings together international and Korean neighbors in Gwanggyo, Suwon, and nearby areas to connect, share, and build a better neighborhood.
Who We Are:
Gwanggyo Global Neighbors is a diverse and vibrant community where you can make new friends, exchange languages, explore different cultures, and enjoy meaningful activities together. We aim to create a welcoming space where everyone feels at home!
Join Our Events and Activities:
1. Language Exchange Coffee Hangout
- ๐ When: Every Saturday, 10:30 am - 12:30 pm
- ๐ Where: Make A Circle (2-minute walk from Gwanggyo Station)
- We switch between English and Korean every 30 minutes. Itโs a casual and friendly setting to chat with neighbors. We provide conversation topics and starter questions, but feel free to talk about anything!
2. Cultural Events with Locals & Internationals
- We've explored Suwon Hwaseong Fortress, tried traditional archery, toured local markets, enjoyed tea ceremonies, and more! We organize fun cultural activities every 2-3 months to help you make friends and experience the diverse cultures.
3. Korean Classes
- ๐ Beginner: Saturdays at 2 pm | Intermediate: Sundays at 2 pm
- ๐ Where: Make A Circle
- Monthly registration is open, and if classes are full, you can join our waiting list! Our warm and passionate teachers are here to guide you.

We're spicing up our usual meetups with a brand-new format! Dive into engaging discussions across two interesting topicsโone hour dedicated to each. We'll start each topic with 30 minutes of English conversation, then switch to Korean for the second half. It's a fantastic way to practice your language skills in a real, dynamic setting. ๐ ๐Who should come?

Whether you're just starting out or have some Korean language experience, our classes are designed to help you thrive in everyday life here in Korea. We focus on practical language skills, not just test prep, with lessons that are engaging, relevant, and fun.

Class Fees:
10,000 won per 90-min lesson, billed monthly. Payments should be made before the first class of each month.*All of our Korean teachers volunteer their time with a genuine passion to serve the local community and support foreigners living in Korea. The modest class fee of 10,000 won per lesson is used to cover the essential costs of operating the classroom and running the Korean language program. It also helps ensure that students are committed to attending and fully engaging in the program.
This fee is not just an investment in your language skills but also a way to contribute to the sustainability of a program designed to enrich your life here in Korea. We believe that the value you receive far exceeds the cost, and we are dedicated to providing you with the best experience possible.
