1. Basics Of TypeScript

Learn the basics of TypeScript. We will go over key features of the language. We will discuss what TypeScript brings to the table. We will build a small demo, utilizing main aspects of this “extension” language.

Sergey Barskiy is an architect with Tyler Technologies. He is a Microsoft MVP. He holds the following certifications: MCPD, MCTS, MCSD for .NET, MCAD for .NET, MCDBA, MCP. He has been working with Microsoft technologies for 15 years. He is a frequent speaker at various regional and national conferences, such as VS Live, DevLink, CodeStock, and Atlanta Code Camp as well as local user groups. He is one of the organizers of Atlanta Code Camp and Atlanta Windows Apps users group. He is also INETA membership mentor for the state of GA.

2. What's New In SQL Server 2014

A brief summary of some of the exciting new features that can be found in SQL Server 2014. Are the features worth the upgrade, or should you wait until SQL Server next? We'll talk about In-Memory OLTP (Hekaton), Cloud Services Integration, and scalability improvements, just to name a few.
