Introduction to gRPC

In this talk Kevin Gandy will present an overview of gRPC. gRPC is an open source framework that is intended to allow applications and services on various platforms to connect with each other in a high performance and reliable manner. Microsoft has announced that WCF will not be brought over to .NET Core and gRPC is a recommended alternative. The talk will go over the history of gRPC, how it works and some demos will be presented.

Kevin is a consultant with Magenic Technologies and recently has been focusing on helping clients move their applications to the cloud.
