See all- Relational Communication Workshop, Part 4 of a Monthly SeriesGwinnett Holistic Psychiatry, Lilburn, GA$1.00
What if the struggles in your relationships—misunderstandings, disconnection, or defensiveness, for example—weren’t signs of failure, but invitations to deeper calibration, connection and relational growth?
If this intrigues you, we invite you to register for the Relational Communication Workshop offered by Imago Communication Facilitator, Sonali Sadequee, at Gwinnett Holistic Psychiatry in Lilburn.
This is not your average communication workshop. We envision it as a guided, heart-centered space to explore the alchemy of words, sacred presence, and relational attunement—where you practice skills with a partner to help you:
- Feel truly heard and seen
- Express your needs and boundaries with confidence
- Navigate sensitive conversations with care
- Repair and rebuild trust, safety, and quality connection with each other
The science of relationships is clear: when people feel psychologically safe, their brains stay more open, regulated, and able to connect.
Studies in relational neuroscience show that active listening—being present without interrupting, fixing, or judging—directly increases trust, emotional closeness, and cooperation. Without these skills, even small misunderstandings can create lasting distance. But with them, we can co-create relationships that are more secure, satisfying, and emotionally intelligent.
Space is limited to 10 participants, so pre-registration is required to reserve your seat. We kindly ask that participants arrive 15 minutes early to settle in and be fully present. To honor the flow and shared experience of the workshop, doors will close 10 minutes after the scheduled start time. Thank you for helping us create a grounded, spacious container for all who attend.
This is a monthly series of workshops which will help you to grow and strengthen your communication skills. You will gain valuable skills whether you choose to only come to one workshop or the whole series. Each workshop builds on the skills taught in the last workshop and offers more opportunities to practice.
The workshop is from 4:30-6:30 and an optional supervised practice time will be from 6:30-7:30
This is the fourth in a monthly workshop series to help you build strong communication skills. Each session stands on its own, and attending multiple workshops will deepen your learning and practice.
In September, we will explore:
From Rupture to Repair: The Art of Apologing
Together, we’ll learn how a sincere, well-crafted apology can open the door to healing and reconnection. We’ll explore how to:
Offer an apology that truly lands and restores dignity
Take responsibility without defensiveness or blame
Initiate repair that fosters trust, safety, and renewal in the relationship
Transform rupture into an opportunity for deeper connection
This is not just a workshop — it’s a sacred space to practice the language of healing and to embody love-in-action through the art of repair.🌷 Space is reserved for the first ten souls who register. Please reply to this email with your RSVP and reciprocity offering by Saturday, September 13th at noon.
🌿 A reciprocity gift between $25–$75/person is warmly welcomed to help sustain this offering for the community. You may send your gift via:
