Feminini-Tea
This is a group of Women who gather in sacred, safe, and intentional space for feminine embodiment through heart sharing and healing rituals. In this ceremony-circle, we flow through guided breath, movement, meditation, heart songs, and authentic communication. This monthly women’s circle creates opportunities to be seen, heard, and held exactly as we are, supporting one another’s growth into our most authentic and empowered selves. The highest intention of Feminini-tea is to uplift and honor women for the benefit of all. Come be with us in circle where the tea is flowing and the community is ever-growing!
This month, we are honored to offer a Sweat Ceremony in the Goddess Temple at The Common Woods.
The Goddess Temple is a beautiful dome crafted from mulberry branches and woven with love, song, and prayer by the women of FemininiTea. On the day of the ceremony, we will cover the structure with blankets, transforming it into a warm and womb-like sanctuary for prayer, song, and renewal. The Goddess Temple is located near the same sacred spot where our previous FemininiTea gatherings have been held.
You are welcome to arrive anytime after 11:00 am to help prepare the space — carrying blankets and stones down to the Temple and tending the fire that will heat the stones for several hours before we enter. This shared preparation is part of the ceremony itself, an offering of care and intention that strengthens our circle.
This will be a gentle and accessible sweat, especially supportive for first-time participants. If children or pregnant women are present, we will make the first two rounds particularly gentle so that everyone may be included safely and comfortably.
We will move through four rounds approximately 10 minutes each, guided by song and prayer in a style similar to previous FemininiTea ceremonies. Between rounds, the door will open and you are welcome to step out to cool down as needed. You are always welcome during the round to leave as well if you need to. You are encouraged to listen to your body during this ceremony and take care of yourself. After the final round, we will have the opportunity to cool our bodies together in the river, sealing the experience in community and connection with the elements.
We will have tea, fruit, and a potluck afterwards.
By the end of each Feminini-Tea circle, women feel more embodied and more connected to one another, to nature, and to themselves. As a result, they can more fully show up as their whole selves in their daily lives.
What to bring:
Please bring your beautiful self, a healthy hearty dish or drink to share for the potluck after the circle, your voice and instruments, a journal, altar items, openness, and clothing appropriate for being outdoors and in a sweat ceremony. You will want breathable natural fiber clothing that you can sweat in. You will need a change of clothes. There will be an opportunity to get in the river, so bring appropriate shoes and clothes for that. Bring a towel for drying off and a towel for sitting on. A glass water bottle if you plan on having it with you in the sweat ceremony. Metal will get too hot. You may bring plant offerings for the fire and the stones such as sage, copal, tobacco, lemongrass, mint, lavendar, and rosemary.
Gathering Space:
We will be gathering in a serene outdoor location by the Yellow River surrounded by the trees and birds. More information about the location is sent after you register.
Flow of the Event:
Please arrive by 1pm when we will begin creating sacred space together. You are welcome to arrive anytime after 11:00 am to help prepare the space — carrying blankets and stones down to the Temple and tending the fire that will heat the stones for several hours before we enter. This shared preparation is part of the ceremony itself, an offering of care and intention that strengthens our circle.
Afterward the sweat ceremony will close with some river time and a potluck. You may stay until 6pm if you would like. Please plan to be here at least from 1-4pm to create a safe and sacred container for our ceremony.
Exchange:
Feminini-tea is a love offering for our communitea, as every woman's presence is a gift that adds to the potency and depth of our work together. We do limit participation to 10 women to cultivate intimacy and consistency, which is why we have moved to a ticketing system. We have four different ticket types to give you an opportunity to contribute to the financial needs of this organization, which includes tea, food, songbooks, facilitator training, time spent preparing for and promoting this gathering, and maintaining our outdoor gathering space.
We encourage this community to stay connected outside of our monthly gathering as we build each other up through meaningful relationships and a resourceful support network.
