🌱 Spring Equinox Gathering

Sharon, Thomas, Bodhi, and Ayden Yun invite you to a family-friendly gathering outdoors in the garden and among the trees to celebrate the Spring Equinox with beloved community.

At the Equinox, day and night meet in perfect balance before the light begins to grow again. It is a sacred threshold in the year—a time to release what has completed its cycle and plant seeds for what wishes to grow.
Together we will welcome the turning of the season through ritual, planting, tea, cacao, food, music, and fire.

Come for as much or as little of the gathering as you like.

Please fill out this Google Form by
March 20 to RSVP and receive the address.

🌱 Seed Planting Ritual & Ceremonial Tea (4–6 PM)
This portion of the gathering will take place in our backyard garden.
We will begin by planting seeds in small starter containers for you to take home. As your hands meet the soil, you will be invited to listen inwardly and reflect on the dreams quietly stirring within your life during this season of renewal.

You are also welcome to plant seeds in our vegetable and medicinal herb garden, knowing that the harvest is always shared with the wider community.

There will also be an opportunity to inoculate a log with shiitake or oyster mushrooms and take the log home if you wish.

When we place seeds into the earth—or mycelium into waiting logs—and patiently tend to their growth, we enter into the great rhythms of life itself. Through this simple act we remember our place within the living web and participate in sacred reciprocity—the balance of giving and receiving through which the Earth's ecosystems thrive.

The Spring Equinox reminds us of this same balance, inviting us to live in greater harmony with the rhythms of the earth and with one another.

These small plants may become living reminders of the dreams you are nurturing. As you care for them in the weeks ahead—watering them, placing them in sunlight, tending their growth—you will be practicing the same patient attention that all dreams require in order to take root and blossom.

During this time Sharon Yun will be serving Pu'erh tea, rose tea, Kanna, and Kava Kava to support presence, connection, and gentle opening of the heart. 🌱🍵

🍲 Potluck (6–7 PM)
We will share a potluck meal and enjoy time together in relaxed community.
If you are able, please bring a dish to share.
Healthy, protein-rich dishes are especially appreciated, along with appetizers, sides, and desserts.

🔥 Spring Equinox Cacao Ceremony (7–8 PM)
Led by Sharon Yun, Thomas Yun, and Prandhara Prem
We will gather in the woods around a fire to honor the Spring Equinox—a sacred moment of balance and renewal as the earth transitions into a new season of growth.

Together we will:
• Open sacred space with song
• Share ceremonial cacao
• Write down what we are ready to release and offer it to the fire
• Participate in a breath practice guided by Prandhara Prem
• Speak or hold intentions for the season ahead

We will close the circle by sharing gratitudes and reflections around the fire as we welcome the new season with presence and connection.

🎶 Song Circle & Music Jam (8–11 PM)
Bring drums or instruments if you have them.
We will share songs, improvise together, and perhaps even create something new in the moment. We will also guide a few beloved circle songs that are easy to learn and tend to linger in the heart long after the night ends.
There will be spaciousness for a music jam where each voice, rhythm, and instrument becomes a thread woven into the shared tapestry of the night’s music.
Singing and playing music together often awakens a sense of collective effervescence—a feeling of unity, joy, timelessness, and deep presence.
There is something ancient and beautiful about voices rising together around a fire. May these songs travel home with you and weave themselves into the rhythms of everyday life.

🌿 Please RSVP by March 20 through the Google Form to receive the address.
We look forward to welcoming the turning of the season with you.
