Tibetan Sound Bowl History & Meditation @ New Westminster Continuing Education
Hosted by The School of Gypsy Arts
Details
Come and listen to the peaceful music from the Tibetan singing bowls. The magnificent sounds will help clear your 'chakras' and raise your vibrations. Physical sensations during singing bowl sessions are common. As blocked energy is finally released, it begins to move, resulting in pleasure or pain that may suddenly arise and subside. You will learn how to breathe and sit during a meditation in order to maximize your experience. You will also learn the history of the Tibetan singing bowls and what sounds are connected with the different chakras. A journal and pen are strongly recommended, so you can record your experience for future reference and to collect your thoughts. Feel free to bring a yoga mat or a blanket to lay on for the meditation.
