Join us for an unforgettable evening of spoken word and experience the charm of Barcelona's newest literary landmark, [BackStory] Bookshop. Be a part of our first-ever open mic night. Gypsy Lounge and [BackStory] Bookshop welcomes poets, writers, musicians, and spoken word artists to share their craft in a vibrant, supportive setting. [BackStory] Bookshop is not just a bookstore but a community where stories are waiting to be told, heard, and read. It's a space where performers and audience members come together in celebration of diversity, expression, and the power of voice. Whether it's your first time sharing your words or you're an experienced artist, you’ll find a welcoming, supportive community eager to embrace your unique voice. Each performer will have about 8 min to share their work or perform 2 songs. Performance slots are limited please come early if you want to perform. Still, come early to meet new friends 😊.

A gentle reminder for our poetry night attendees: The beauty of an open mic is the unpredictability of content. As we do not moderate performer choices, some material may be best suited for adult ears. Those attending with children, please be advised.
