This trip is waiting list only. Once you reserve your site and tell me the site number, I will add you as going. I do not allow any guests or plus 1's on my hikes/events. Everyone must be a member of H3O and sign up on their own. Membership is free and easy.

Cancelling the Trap Pond State Park camping trip due to issues with the pond/spillway repair which will prohibit kayaking. Instead we will be camping and kayaking at Killens Pond State Park in Delaware. Anyone who was set to go to the Trap Pond State Park trip and reserved the site, needs to CALL Reserve America at 877-987-2757 and ask to transfer the Trap Pond reservation to Killens Pond State Park (SP) if you want to attend this. You need to tell Reserve America you are transferring the reservation to Killens Pond SP due to Trap Pond spillway repairs, and ask them to not charge any reservation transfer fees. I did this with no problems.

I transferred my reservation and Rob and I are on E-2.

In addition to kayaking/boating, there is a 2.5 mile loop to hike around the pond and bike riding in the area. They also have a Nature Center.

Fork Branch Nature Preserve is close by, located at the corner of Kenton and West Denneys roads, along the Maidstone Branch in the St. Jones River Watershed. If you want to explore that.

Bombay Hook National Wildlife Refuge in Smyrna, DE is close by and a neat place to explore
