**** Trip is waiting list only to start. Once you secure a camp site/lodging and let me know the site number, I will add you as going. I do not allow any guests or plus 1's on my hikes/events. Everyone must be a member of H3O and sign up on their own. Membership is free and easy.
Join us for a camping & outdoor activity long weekend at Ohiopyle State Park - Kentuck Campground in Ohiopyle, PA. This is about a 4 hour drive from Valley Forge Park. Given the distance and many activities to do in the area, this camping trip is Wednesday to Sunday. If you can join us for only part of the weekend, that is fine too.
In addition to hiking, there are numerous outdoor activities to do & see in the Ohiopyle area: whitewater rafting, natural water slides, bike riding along the Great Allegheny Passage (GAP) Trail , fishing, and the Flight 93 National Memorial. If you are into architecture, try visiting the 2 Frank Lloyd Wright designed homes- Fallingwater and Kentuck Knob.
Eileen will be organizing a white water rafting excursion. She planned that for our August 2020 camping trip here and everyone had a great time.

Kentuck is a large campground, close to 200 sites and they are usually filled every weekend in the summer. Rob and I booked #45 on Cherry Rd Loop and Eileen and Ed booked site #42, Reservatios can be made at: https://www.dcnr.pa.gov/StateParks/FindAPark/OhiopyleStatePark/Pages/default.aspx
Alcohol is prohibited in PA State Parks.
