Let's celebrate the start of spring with one of my favorite Central PA hikes. This will be an out and back using the Mason Dixon trail section along Muddy Creek. The topology of this area is totally unexpected for Central PA. I think it's one of the most interesting hikes in Southern PA. A lot of the trail is pine needle covered with rhododendron patches along the way. We'll explore Snap Falls and The Gorge. A picturesque view of the Susquehanna can be seen at the parking area.
