Please read the directions to the parking lot location. This is NOT the main parking lot for the ski slope. Meetup does not recognize the starting location.
Join me on a seven to nine mile hike from Spring Mount to Pennypacker Mills and back. The hike has areas of pavement, gravel, dirt and a stream crossing. A section of the hike (along property owned by the Perkiomen Watershed) will require hiking on a dirt trail so wear appropriate shoes as it could be a little muddy. We will encounter a few hills so I consider this hike as moderate. Pennypacker Mills is hosting a free Revolutionary War Reenactment from 10 AM to 5 PM. We can stay as long or as short as we desire. There are also a few revolutionary graves in the area to pay our respects.
Consider bringing bug repellent as tick season is in full swing.
